Jordan Madlon (born in 1989 in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe) lives and works in Mannheim as an artist. He first studied at ESAD Saint-Étienne, from which he graduated in 2014. In 2016, he presented his work at “La Vitrine” of the Jean Brolly Gallery in Paris, following a two-year period of study at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Karlsruhe. Jordan Madlon has also taken part in numerous group exhibitions, including Jeune Création 67 in 2017 at the Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery in Pantin, the artpress Biennale in 2020 at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Saint-Étienne, as well as the 65th Salon de Montrouge in 2021. He is currently part of the Post-Diploma program 2026 at ENSBA Lyon. His work is held in private and public collections in Germany, notably at the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart and at the Kulturamt Mannheim, as well as in France at the FRAC Auvergne and the Fondation François Schneider in Wattwiller.
