Ange-Frédéric Koffi

Ange-Frédéric Koffi is a curator, art critic, and researcher. He graduated from Sorbonne University – Paris 1 (FR), the Haute école des arts du Rhin (FR), and the École cantonale d’art de Lausanne (CH), and also holds a degree in History from the University of the Western Cape (ZA). A member of the ILLE laboratory at the University of Haute-Alsace (FR), his curatorial practice examines image regimes and historical narratives in postcolonial contexts, considering the exhibition as a critical space. He curated FANON antinomies (2025) in Abidjan (CI), Mécanique poétique – Adama Sylla (2023–26) and I Was Here – I Saw Here (2020) in Mulhouse (FR). His research has been published in Médiévales and Kronos and presented at international conferences. A Foam Talent 2022 laureate and fellow of the Zeitz MOCAA, he has undertaken residencies at Black Rock Dakar (SN) and at the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation (IE).
