Born in 1997, lives and works in Paris. Graduated in 2021 at the School of fine arts, Cergy (FR)

Amélie Bigard’s artistic practice takes shape mainly through painting. Alongside her studies at the École des Beaux-Arts de Marseille in 2018, she trained as an icon painter at the Église de la Dormition. She then spends a year in Berlin as an assistant to painter Helen Verhoeven, before continuing her studies at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris-Cergy. In 2022, she had her first solo show at the Consulat Voltaire in Paris and a second solo show at the Studiolo gallery in Milan. She has held residencies at Therapeia Art Residency in Greece (2023), Maison Artagon (2022), Consulat Voltaire (2022) and Orfèvrerie (2021).
