Ange-Frédéric Koffi

Ange-Frédéric Koffi is a curator, art critic, and researcher. A graduate of Sorbonne University (Paris 1), the Haute école des arts du Rhin, and the École cantonale d’art de Lausanne, he also holds a degree in history from the University of the Western Cape. A member of the ILLE laboratory (University of Haute-Alsace), his curatorial practice questions image regimes and historical narratives in postcolonial contexts, viewing exhibitions as critical spaces. He curated FANON antinomies (Abidjan, 2025), Mécanique poétique – Adama Sylla (2023-26) and I Was Here – I Saw Here (Mulhouse, 2020). His research has been published in Médiévales and Kronos, and presented at international conferences. Winner of Foam Talent 2022 and fellow of Zeitz MOCAA, he has benefited from residencies at Black Rock (Dakar) and the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation (Ireland).
