The ADIAF’s intention is to be a place of fulfillment for lovers of contemporary art and offers many events to sharpen the collector’s “eye”. Exclusively dedicated to members of the Association, these invitations are sent out throughout the year for thirty or so events connected to the Marcel Duchamp Prize and, more generally speaking, to the French contemporary art scene.
They allow people to discover artists, share themes of reflection and also allow for fruitful exchanges between collectors sharing the same passion.

Among the programs the ADIAF proposes to all its members:

PRIVATE VIEWS, VISITS TO EXHIBITIONS AND MEETINGS WITH ARTISTS FROM THE MARCEL DUCHAMP PRIZE
The ADIAF offers the possibility of taking part in all of its exhibitions’ private views, in particular in the Centre Pompidou.
Visits in the presence of the curators and artists are organized within an exclusive context as well as meetings with the prize’s artists in their galleries or studios.

DINNERS-MEETINGS
Quarterly meetings very popular with collectors, these dinners gather together fifteen or so members of the ADIAF so that they can meet a personality from the art world over dinner in a well-known Parisian restaurant.
Jean Clair and Esther Schipper as well as Thomas Hirschhorn have already taken part in the exercise.
VISITS TO PRIVATE COLLECTIONS
ADIAF collectors regularly open the doors of their homes to other members in order to share their vision of the collection.

CONFERENCES AND ROUND TABLES
“Le charabia artistique” (see conference by Antoine Poncet), “Le leasing adapté à l’art contemporain”, “Comment accompagner les artistes français à l’international ?”… the ADIAF expands on these questions during round tables and conferences to which the members are invited.

TRIPS
Fairs, salons, French or international biennials or private views of the ADIAF exhibitions provide a good occasion for proposing made-to-measure trips to members highlighted by meetings and exceptional visits.
In 2017: the ADIAF will be organizing a trip to Brussels for the opening of the exhibition of the artists from the 2016 Marcel Duchamp Prize in the Hangar H18, as well as an exceptional 10-day trip to China at the end of the month of May for the private view of our upcoming exhibitions in Beijing and Canton.
The ADIAF also proposes many guest passes for fairs and salons which are partners of the association.

Two specific programs are proposed:

YOUNG COLLECTORS
In order to federate an active community and include new generations in the ADIAF’s circle of collectors, in 2015 the association created a “Young Collectors” group proposing dedicated quarterly meetings in a more festive spirit and adapted to the lifestyle of young professionals.

BUSINESS CLUB
The ADIAF has also created the “Business Club” allowing the managers of small and medium-sized businesses or accredited and self-employed professionals (law, insurance and architecture firms…) to join the association by going into partnership with the Marcel Duchamp Prize, while benefiting from a dedicated program.
